How do you get inspired to write?

Cora Graham Life inspires me to write. Everything around me. People, places, things, movies, but above all music. In all honestly, the inmates (characters in my head) are always trying to take over. It's like constant background music that plays on an endless loop. When I see, hear or experience something unique to one of those characters, they get louder and more persistent. I'm not crazy, I promise.:)
