I Craize Books
I Craize Books asked Cheryl Koevoet:

First off hello, secondly, the cover to your books are absolutely gorgeous (loooovvveee them) and lastly and I know the qeustion "where did you get the idea to write Carnelian Legacy" I will instead ask you "out of everything a person could be in the world, why did you choose to be an author?"

Cheryl Koevoet Ha-ha, hah! For some reason, your question makes me laugh!! :0) Maybe it's because I have held down so many different jobs during my life! And thank you for your compliment on my covers -- I have an absolutely FABULOUS cover designer (Najla Qamber) who deserves all the credit!!

I think someone "chooses" to write in the same way that another person decides to become an artist, or a painter, an actor, a comedian or a musician. There is just this inexplicable creative urge to express oneself through craftsmanship by producing something tangible and sharing it with the world.

For me personally, becoming an author gives me the opportunity to tell a meaningful story with a truthful message that makes people think. There is nothing more satisfying than to hear that someone has enjoyed reading my books. In some small way, I feel as if I have made the world a slightly better place and that is truly a rewarding feeling.

Thanks for your question!
