How do you think of character/setting names? Is there a particular way that you do it? By the way I love your writers blog. Fairest is my favorite, but the writing books are close behind!

Gail Carson Levine Thank you! I wrote a blog post on naming characters, which you may find helpful. For places, I often look at maps. If I'm going for a certain kind of sound I'll search on line for names of towns in particular countries. When I find something I like I tweak it so it's a little different from the actual place name.
