How do you get inspired to write?

Norene Moskalski Hmmm. A question writers grapple with every day! Inspiration and motivation are seriously entertwined. Some days I may be inspired to write but never seem to have time to sit down and start the process. Other days, I say to myself that I really must start writing that next chapter, but nothing exciting comes to mind. And then--there are the times when I'm drawn to my computer and the words just flow! I think that leaving ourselves open to those moments may be what inspiration is all about.
