I loved this book. So sad that it is to be his last. I will really miss his work. One of my all time favorite authors. I guess this is not a question...so Who else loved this book?

Cathy I loved this book. However, I am wondering, did Mr. Haruf die before this book was finished? I feel the ending was not completely tied up, I wanted more. Did anyone else feel this way?
Shirley Loved it. His books fill me with a quiet joy.
Tina I did love it as well-so moving and sad-just happen to have met someone who left her husband of 40 yrs to move in with her man and a month later had to move out because the man was given the same ultimatum-crazy that grown children can't understand and accept that perhaps older parents have just as much rights to live their lives-how selfish

Richard I absolutely adored this book!
Kathleen Harrington Loved it... a little jewel of a book
Jan Loved it. A gentle little book but I did not care for her son.
Woody I did! And I really enjoyed Plainsong too. His books stay with you and they leave you with a warm glow.
Ken Paterson The first novel I've read by this writer. Came across it in a charity shop in Hebden Bridge (UK). I loved it, too. These characters - Louis and Addie - are living, breathing people, looking back on their lives in a healthy kind of way. And moving on, in their own fashion.
Nancy I loved his books. He was one of my favorite contemporary writers. So sad there will be no more Haruf books.
Dana Ehrlich Loved the book but it seems unfinished. We are supposed to keep our disbelief suspended when she starts calling him late at night, after decisive rejection? Uh, no, a little hokey.
Mary I read it, loved it, except that it made me terribly sad in its very 21st Century truth about families, estates, personal freedom. Beautifully written and compelling, though.
John Strickler John. I have read all of Ken Haruf's books and never been disappointed in any of them. I had the pleasure of meeting him once and found a gracious and thoughtful man. He will really be missed
Angela I fell in love with this book. It is charming.
Pam Loved it. Such a tender story written simply beautifully.
CMG (Mac) Loved it. Sweet. Too short but that's probably what made it so good.
Jo-Ann Devereaux Moran I loved this book. I found it not long after reading "A Man Called Ove". Both are lovely, heartbreaking at times, and wonderful to read.
Becky Phillips Oh, I loved it, too. A beautiful book. Made me long for such honesty in my own life.
Kisa Yes, I did too.
Patricia Just so lovely.
Elaine Beautiful book. Kent Haruf is a favorite author -- and he will be missed.

Connie Loved it. Loved every single book he wrote. Simple, powerful stories.
Sydney Wiggins Loved it. As others have said, "gentle" and a "little jewel."
Montessahall Montessahall Loved it. One of the best books I have ever read.
Linda A treasure that is worth re-reading.
Kathleen Burns Not I. I love his writing but I found the ending too full of pathos. I didn't think that ending was coming.
