From the reviews, I hear that there is a sex scene in the book. Is this just one scene and very briefly? I ask because I don't like to read novels with a lot of such content...thanks!

I was amazed that even after the discussions that the other girls had had within Lilly's hearing, she was still ignorant about procreation.
Obviously there were no mother daughter conversations in the upper classes then. (less)
