Hello, Paolo! Have you ever signed books at a B&N in Greenwood, Indiana? I bought The Drowned Cities there (I loved The Ship Breakers) and to my surprise, once I got home and opened it-- it was signed! I've always been curious if you were actually there or if it was signed stock that just happened to be shipped there. Just curious! =) Thank you!! (and btw, I also loved The Drowned Cities)

Paolo Bacigalupi It was signed stock that was shipped. I actually visited this massive warehouse outside of Indianapolis, and over the course of a day and half I signed 3000 copies of THE DROWNED CITIES, that were then distributed to B&N's across the country. My hand was tired afterward. :)
