Hey Queenb!
The Lovely Vicious series came to me when I asked myself; "hey, what the hell do I like to read? What do I like to see in books?" I'm a huge shoujo manga fan, and I realized what I liked to read was basically a shoujo manga - plucky girl, cold yet caring guy, lots of humor and crazy antics. YA doesn't have nearly enough humor these days, and I want to sort of bring that back into the reading experience - reading should be fun. Characters should be so real you can reach out and taste them. That's my goal, and concept, for Lovely Vicious.
