Wow - I can't believe you read my review! Such a wonderful first novel. My question is - did the wall in the cabin really say Reuben? Or is that something else Punzel created in her mind?

Hello Hannah, I'm so pleased you enjoyed it, and even though your review had some criticism, I don't have any problem with hearing it - each reading experience is different.
And because each person reads a book differently, I don't have a definitive answer to your question - some things I left deliberately unanswered so that readers could make up their own mind. But, of course, I do also have an opinion. In my mind the word Reuben really was carved into the wall, so the real question is, was it there already, or did Peggy carve it herself. And for that one, I think it was there already. But you might have spotted that when Peggy goes to the cabin at that point she does happen to have her father's knife in her pocket, so she could have carved it herself.
I hope that helps!

Thank you for liking my review. I did enjoy the story, with working at a book store I do get to read early copies of books. I hope I didn't post the review to early? I will have to read your first book soon. Well happy reading and happy writting. I have to ask you a question to post this - Where do U get your inspiration from when writting your stories. Enjoy your day, From Colleen.

Hi, I just wanted to let you know I love your writing style. I was so happily surprised when I saw you trained as a sculptor, as that's exactly how I feel your story's read like, as if you're crafting and sculpting beautiful words together. I chose your last book for my book group pick, and Swimming Lessons will be my next one, they'll think your paying me, lol. Do you know what your next book will be about?
