Can you please give me your email? so I could send this book i've been working on because you've inspirred me so much and I want you to be the first to read it xoxo
Shannon Messenger
My email address is on my website under the contact page (shannonmessenger.com). BUT, while I love hearing from readers--and love, love, *love* knowing my books have inspired you to write--I actually can't read any pages or writing anyone sends me. In fact,if anyone sends me anything like that, it has to be deleted immediately without being read, so you'll never get a reply.
I know that probably sounds mean, and I wish it didn't have to be that way, but unfortunately there are all kinds of complicated legal reasons that make it necessary. So you're welcome to email me just to say hi--I do my best to reply (though it often takes 8-10 months because of how very many emails I get every day) But if you send any of your writing, it will have to be deleted before I ever see it.
Sorry--sometimes being a grown-up really sucks the fun out of things. :(

Shannon Messenger:
Mrs. Messenger, you seem to know a lot about grief. You've described different reactions to grief from your characters in KotLC. What do you say to someone who is suffering? I know a family that just lost their son/brother, suddenly. I don't know why I'm asking you, but you're who came to mind, when I thought about the different ways the members of that family are handling it. -Feeling Helpless
