I absolutely LOVE the Avalon series. I first read it back in middle school and now have reread it as an adult. What motivated you to write (and keep writing) Avalon/Polaris/Proxy?
Mindee Arnett
Hey there, thanks so much for reaching out. I'm thrilled to hear you enjoyed Avalon. Those books hold a special place in my heart. To be honest, my primary motivation at the time was that I had discovered and fallen in love with the TV show Firefly and was heartbroken to realize it no longer existed. I wanted to create an homage to those characters with Avalon. My motivation to keep writing is the love of story telling. It's a passion, and even though I often face a lot of doubt and deal with many things vying for my time and attention, the love of story always brings me back. Happy reading and writing!

Mindee Arnett:
I haven't read any books that are about nightmares, real nightmares before I've read your fantastic book 'The Nightmare-affair'. It was such a new story for me because I always hear about vampires, angels, devils, demons, wolfs, etc. But about nightmares not at all for my sadness. So my question is: How could you create or even thing about this type of creatures? Sorry if a similar question had been answered before.

I found the book Avalon when looking for a book to read for homework and I absolutely fell in love with it. Did you have some inspiration from Star Wars, because of what happened at the end, and with the fact he was a mecinary and called Sierra Sweathart like Han? Thanks for the great read, and I'm excited to read the next one
