Hi I was just wondering where was the setting take place in Speak and Catalyst?

Originally, I thought it would allow me to bring some of the secondary characters, like the teachers from SPEAK, into another book. But I threw out all those scenes, because Kate saw those teachers very differently than Melinda did. But the setting also allowed me to give readers a mini-update about Melinda. I liked being able to do that.

In addition, they love the plot, and every year they ask the same question:, "Why hasn't this novel been developed into a movie?" Well, now I am asking that same question.
