Dublin Galyean asked Emma Jaye:

Review Group Discussion Regarding your "Clean" policy: my book, Bougainvillea Blues, opens with the main character being "beaten up" by the his next-door neighbor. Also, he has some exploratory feeling up with an older girl. I would not call the first scene violent or the second one sexually explicit, but don't want to join this review group if either could be problematic. What do you think?

Emma Jaye It is up to the other people in the group. If they find your content offensive due to violence or sexual content, they have the right to refuse to review it on those grounds. You would still have to review the 4 books allocated to you.
I'm afraid I don't have time to review individual books to determine whether they may be offensive to some or not, and as I write very explicit scenes myself, I'm probably not the the best person to make a decision on that anyway.

For future reference, can people pose questions about the review group via messaging me personally, rather than putting them on my author profile? Of course if you have a question about my writing, feel free.
