Penelope Douglas:
What is your writing process? Do you outline? Do you write down notes about certain events you want to happen? I know you use Pinterest, and an inspiration board in your office. Thanks!

Yes, I'm a huge outliner!!
Once I have a plot idea, I go on Pinterest for visual inspiration, and I think about it a lot.
When the book idea has had time to crystallize in my head, I sit down and make a list of the scenes and points I want to include in the story. Then I make an outline:
A. The beginning/identify the problem B. Work to solve the problem/get the couple together C. Resolution and HEA. And then I outline the chapters underneath every letter and make notes of what needs to happen in each chapter.
Now, once I start writing, the book ALWAYS goes off course from what I had planned That's to be expected. I'll adjust my outline then. I also take walks and showers to get some think time. That's very important. Great books take time, because your brain is your most valuable tool. Sometimes it takes time to figure out a scene or how to resolve the problem. The faster you force your brain to work, the less likely it is to cooperate. ;)
Thanks for the question!
I also sit down everyday and reread what I write the previous day before I start writing to get my head back in the game.

I just finished reading Corrupt and it was amazing! I know the book is a standalone BUT please tell me there is hope for books on Kai, Will, and even Damon? There is so much more to all these characters and deserve a chance to get their own story and happy ending especially all they have been through! I am crossing my fingers that they will be more! Sincerely, an anxious fan waiting for good news! Ely
