Janny Wurts:
I've read 3 books from the Wars of Light and Shadow series and from the way you write about animals and plants - the awareness, consciousness- the way Traithe treated the felled buck in Fugitive Prince and from what I know of your personal relation with animals, I wonder if you are vegetarian?

Not a vegetarian, never saw the point - nothing survives here without feeding on something, and who said their was a 'hierarchy' - animals valued more than plants? Survival has an impact on life, and my focus has been that it isn't what we eat, but how we treat what we kill for our food. The quality of life and the way it is taken is what matters - and that, regardless of what I might do, individual choice and the beliefs of others are to be honored without prejudice.
