Hi Lisa. Thanks for your question. I wrote The Life List while teaching full time. I spent every spare minute after work, evenings, and weekends at my computer. It was do-able for me b/c I don't have kids and my husband is very understanding! But after the second book sold, I knew I had to give up either the teaching or the writing. For as much as I loved teaching, it was just too much doing both. I'm writing full time now--no longer teaching. If you're trying to write while working, don't give up. And treat your writing seriously...make it a priority. You can do both, but it's not easy. I hope this helps! Good luck!
