Kristen Ashley Mostly it's because, when the characters told me their stories, this didn't happen. I do believe partially it's because there are so many times one of my heroines can get kidnapped! And that seems to happen a lot to my girlies. So perhaps my characters wanted to give me (and my readers) a different kind of story...one where they can't anticipate what will happen...one with a few surprises.

That doesn't mean kidnapping is off the menu! Just that wasn't in the cards for Zara and Emme :-) xx
