I am inspired by nature, especially by water and when I am near water. I feel particularly inspired by the ocean, my home Atlantic Ocean. At first it lulls me to sleep with its steady rocking and rollicking. Then it slams me awake like a wave crashing into the rocky coastline. Once I am awake again I have the beginning of a story. Then the characters come to me from the creative flow and tell me the story. I just write it down.
