How do you get inspired to write?

Linda B. White I read like mad--newspapers, magazines, short stories, novels, scientific journals, cereal boxes. Until recently, I taught classes in integrative health care at Metropolitan State University of Denver. Researching my lectures and answering student questions also sparks ideas for health articles. Otherwise, I just sit at the computer and start typing. If I'm patient, ideas come. That's especially true for fiction writing.
