I'm working on a historical mystery (yet to be titled). In 1943, Helena, a courier for the Polish underground rescued two Jewish children from the Warsaw ghetto during the worst winters of the war. She never knew what happened to the children. Then in a chance encounter in a Chicago doctor's office, Helena thinks she sees the girl, Leah. But It can't be the girl. It's 1969. The encounter plunges Helena into psychosis. To recover Helena has to remember what happened to Leah.
