How do you get inspired to write?

Elizabeth Ann Lawless I am passionate about a number of subjects: creativity, history, business and people. My inspiration comes in many forms. Sometimes it is in response to a problem or question I have. With my "Creative Monster" book it was "Can I really be a creative writer?" since I had gone to college and graduated with a Journalism degree, I was struggling with writing in a different format than a just the facts approach. So I was led to write this book about the brain and the creative process. Other times like with my "Western Legends" book it was about wanting to tell other people's extraordinary stories. These wonderful REAL people who lived and are living life on their own terms because of the choices they made, some under difficult conditions, really inspired me. I felt they were great role models for kids and adults today and their stories made me want to be a better person and make my own choices count. Most of the time, I just want to teach or share information that might be helpful to someone in their business, spiritual or creative life.
