Almost all of my books are inspired by real life. Girl, Stolen was inspired by a real teenager who is blind who was briefly kidnapped when her mom's car was stolen - with her inside. The Night She Disappeared was inspired by a real missing pizza delivery girl. The Body in the Woods and Blood Will Tell were inspired by our real local search and rescue group, which looks for crime scene evidence, too. The Girl Who Was Supposed to Die was mostly made up, although fugue state amnesia is real and the bio weapons info is accurate.
