Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Ashley Earley I'm not entirely sure....I literally have a whole drawer-full of scrape pieces of paper with scribbled book ideas on them.
After finishing another novel (unpublished) last year, I decided to pick a random piece of paper from my "Book Idea Drawer." (I know, original name, huh?) The piece of paper I picked just so happened to be the the concept for my first published novel, "The Darkest Light."
So, that was the book I decided to write, and later, publish.
