Iman Razak
Iman Razak asked Maria V. Snyder:

What's your method of planning out your books? Do you usually know how you want the book/series to end as you start out or just go with the flow?

Maria V. Snyder Hi Iman! I'm a seat-of-the-pants writer, which means, I've an idea for a story (characters and situation) and I've a general/vague idea of how I want the book to end and then I sit down and write! I discover all the details and personality traits and plot twists as I write the first draft. I only have one book in mind, but when I finish I usually know what book 2 might be about. I like writing this way - I think if I knew exactly what was going to happen in my book, I'd be bored and wouldn't want to write it! My readers have asked me to write Poison Study from Valek's POV, but I know what happens and I've no interest in writing that story.
