Stefane I disliked the ending. Thought it didn't make any sense and was completely unrealistic.
Vicki Ware I liked the ending. As I progressed through the book there were a number of ideas forming in my mind about what might have happened, and how the ending would turn out. Would it be left with Jenny (and the reader) never knowing what happened to Naomi, or would we be given the answer? Many missing person cases are never solved.

There are many other possible endings that would have been far less satisfactory, leaving me with annoying unanswered questions. There are other alternatives that would have been more disturbing and upsetting, sad and hopeless. The ending that was given was believable and at the same time gave me closure whilst still leaving some room for my own interpretations of what might happen in the future. All this, written without trying to give too much away to those who haven't read the book already!

Ashleigh I'm torn on how I feel about the ending. After my initial relief that that Naomi was in fact still alive I felt a lot of anger of being left with too many unanswered questions. I really want to know what she told her husband and boys. If she didn't go running to the police...why?
