How do you get inspired to write?

Sharon Cho For the relationship scenes, I just allow my imagination to kick in. However, for the action sequences, I end up watching a lot of HK action flicks. Sometimes, I'll sneak a TVB serial in there, but those don't have the action sequences I need for my books. To be honest, I usually rely on old Shaw Brothers movies because the kung fu in there is more based on reality than recent movies who use quick cuts to give the illusion of martial arts.
