Hi Josephine. I adored your Starcrossed series and I can't wait to read Trial by fire. My question is what tips and advice would you give to aspiring writers who are low on confidence in their ability to write? Thank you!

First, thank you! So glad you enjoyed it.
I had huge confidence problems when it came to writing. I was scared to show anything to anyone. What changed for me was two things--I needed someone to believe in me first, and then I had to change my thinking. I had to get to place where I felt I had nothing to lose. I don't know how that second part happened for me, but one day I just got to point where I realized that never trying was worse than failing. Then I wrote Starcrossed.

Loved your Starcrossed trilogy, always enjoyed modern Greek mythology with a twist!! Though that leads me to my question, how did you come with concept for Trial by Fire? It seems very different from your first series about Greek Gods and Goddesses, and now leaning towards the paranormal of the YA world.
