It a good book to read but i have finished Fairy Tail and I say it's for 15 or older. Fairy tail likes to show a lot of their body parts but it does not show anything down there. So younger may be to much for a kid so i recommend be 15 or older, any younger is too inappropriate.

I've only read this volume so far and it's mostly harmless, but at one point the female protagonist is threatened with sexual assault by a group of men. So 6-11 year olds might be a bit too young for this one.

I watched parts of the anime, so take this with a grain of salt, but what I do know is that there's a lot of nudity in the show and provocative outfits (the manga I'm not sure about but many manga have more or less the same plot as the anime). They don't show private parts (i.e. genitals), but they do show the body. Bare in mind, I'm just throwing stuff out here.
