At last! An easy question. Hands down, it's PERSUASION. In fact, when I was writing SHADES OF MILK AND HONEY, I would alternate between reading a chapter of Persuasion and then writing a chapter. Jane is based heavily on Anne Elliot.

It's not a question but just wanted to say thank you for writing the short story Jaiden's Weaver. It was a really heartwarming tale about a young girl growing up in different circumstances with her pet. It reminded me a lot like the Red Fern grows (but less heartbreaking). Just a beautiful moment of a girl and her teddybear spider. Thank you so much for the story. (?)
