I am reading Americanah, and I'm about half way through. If, for the protagonist, Nigeria is 100 % good, and the USA is 100% bad, why come to the States?

It seems horribly simplistic to state that "Nigeria is 100 % good" when Adichie clearly points out many issues in Nigeria as well as America. Instead of clutching your ignorance for dear life, perhaps take a moment to actually read the novel.
