Did Sanford really write this?? I've been such a fan and have loved the Prey series but sad to say this just didn't measure up. ( for me). Found myself drifting off into a snooze at times where I'll usually inhale the novels in one sitting.. so disappointing..

But what gets me is, this isn't his world, and for the first time, he sounds like a hick instead of the smooth smartass he usually is.

It's embarrassing. And he already said how the murders happened -- so it's just a question of which guy, apparently. So the plot is flawed.

I'll keep reading but may not finish, despite having more tolerance for details cause I live where it's set, so that has more meaning to me.
