I think even 7/8 year old kids can read it because it can teach the children about bullying so I think a 10 year old kid can read it.

My old fifth grade teacher had a student named August and he had a sorta deformed face,( a little bit) and her room number is 301, which is the same as Auggie Pullman's homeroom class number!

Definently. But it also depends on what reading level the 10 year old kid is

10 Is a good age my brother read it when he was 11. The age range is 8 9 10 11 and 12.

Yes! I think 10 is a good age if the child really wants to learn something and take something away from the story

Mom got it for my ten-year-old sister and she loved it. She's rereading it, actually, so I don't think it was too traumatic :P
Katelyn Johnson
Yes, I read this when I was eleven and one of my friends read it when she was ten, so it is definitely good for that age group. I think the youngest to read this would be about nine, possibly younger depending on the child's reading level and if they are advanced.
Charlie
Yes, 10 year olds are the perfect audience for this book, as they are just entering middle school. I teach sixth grade and read WONDER with my "homeroom" students this past school year. The perfectly understood the complexity and depth of the book, and rooted for Auggie all the way. They took great things from the book to use as discussion for our anti-bullying program.

I read this to a class of 3rd and 4th graders and it led to some great class discussions!
Daniel
Well it depends how good of a reader you are.

I am reading this book and I am 11 so I would think this book is okay for 10 year old kids. And they will love this book and they can learn that kindness is better than being bad. And I hope they enjoy Wonder.
Neeraja
I think this book is good for any age. Even adults. I really enjoyed this book and I have read it a million times (maybe I am exaggerating too much) and I think that a lot people would typically enjoy this book.
