Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Kim Luke I live in a magical place, a Christmas tree farm. We had a giant white Alaskan Malamute dog, a truly majestic animal whose spirit of adventure landed him in advertising campaigns, on parade floats, ambassador of our farm. He would explore the world around us, by breaking the rules, and we can only speculate how he was able to actually do these things. He was a frequent friend to students in a secluded school, was invited into many homes, was invited to nap with children, went to cookouts and given roasted hot dogs,
This spirit-filled personality was the inspiration for my most recent series. What if his best friend was a tiny field mice who dreams of being a king . . . an unlikely pair who just might change the world.
