How do you deal with writer’s block?

Leanna Ellis I take long walks and longer drives. I try to refill the well by reading, going to museums, hanging out with friends. When my dad passed away, I really struggled. But I was under deadline. So not writing was not an option. I figured out I could write about my crazy puppy who was about 6 months old. So I wrote Hilo into my manuscript, writing about her crazy antics. It got me writing. So if you're struggling to write, find something you can write about... start there.
