Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Rita Arens I got the idea for THE OBVIOUS GAME from blogging about my pasts experiences with eating disorders. I realized from talking to people and reading comments on my work that people who don't have eating disorders really do not get them at all, and they're getting all their information from pop culture and Dr. Phil. That is no good. I wrote my novel to explain the psyche of anorexia and a possible path in and out of it. I also wanted to write about mother/daughter relationships that don't suck.
