Michael J. Sullivan:
Hi Michael, Huge Fan of your here. Have read your Riyria series (& re-read). Absolutely enjoyed them. Are you coming up with any few books or more in Riyria? Thanks Lavi
Michael J. Sullivan
Hey Lavi - Glad to hear you are enjoying the books. I think you'll like the answer to your question - which is...BOTH!
I just finished a five book series called The First Empire. The series was bought by Del Rey and they'll release the first one in the summer of 2016. Here's a bit about the first book:

What does it mean if the gods can be killed?
In the land of the Rhune, trees can tell the future. Roaw can’t sleep before adding more human bones to their bed. Crimbels steal children through secret doors in the forest, and the gods are beyond reproach. But when Raithe’s father is slain, he does the unthinkable—he kills a god. From this act, rises the legend of the God Killer, the seeds of a rebellion, and the question of whether the gods are really immortal after all. Before the Dark Ages, there was the age of Myth and Legend. Before kings and castles, there were mystics and heroes. Before two thieves, there was an empire. And before there was an empire, there was Nyphron. Everything you think you know is a myth. Learn the truth behind the legend. Discover a new world by the author of The Riyria Revelations and The Riyria Chronicles.
But summer of next year is a ways off, so I have the third Riyria Chronicle tale coming out later this year. Here's information on it:
Three times they tried to kill her. Then they hired a professional. She hired Riyria.
When the last member of the oldest noble family in Avryn is targeted for assassination, Riyria is hired to foil the plot. Three years have passed since the war-weary mercenary Hadrian and a cynical ex-assassin Royce joined forces to start life as thieves-for-hire. Things have gone well enough until they receive the odd assignment to prevent a murder. Now they must venture into a forgotten corner of southern Avryn—a place whose history predates the empire. As usual, challenges abound as they try to anticipate the moves of an unknown assassin before it’s too late. But that's not their only problem. The Countess of Dulgath hides a dark secret she's determined to keep hidden. Then there's the little matter of Riyria's new employer...the Nyphron Church.
In the past, Orbit hasn't released the Riyria books in hardcover. I'd like to get this one out in that format so I'm going to run a Kickstarter for it. If the Kickstarter doesn't fund, no problem. The book will still come out in trade paperback and ebook, but if it does fund then we'll have regular and limited edition hardcovers. For those that want to be notified when the Kickstarter launches Here is a link to sign up.
If you want to add any of these books to your shelf, they are already in goodreads.

Hi! While reading about Gwen and Royce at the bridge, I felt that she was truly surprised that she was the one that Royce loved most (over Hadrian). Almost as if she had misread her own fortune. Was this your intent, or did I just want that beautiful, poetic, girly-moment?
Thank you,
Morgan
