Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Suzanne Johnson PIRATE'S ALLEY is the buildup to a preternatural war in New Orleans, and I got the idea for how it would all pan out from reading about the real Battle of New Orleans back in 1815, only instead of the English fighting the Americans, it's the wizards, elves, faeries, and historical undead!
