Hi Tracey! How do feel about On the Island sometimes being compared to Fifty Shades of Grey?

On the Island and Fifty Shades of Grey were both in the top 10 on Amazon and also the New York Times bestseller list around the same time. On the Island also showed up on Fifty Shades of Grey as an "also-bought" on Amazon. All of these things led people to believe that the content was similar even though FSoG is erotica and OTI is contemporary romance. This does bother me but mostly because of the age difference between Anna and T.J. I really don't want anyone to think that there was inappropriate contact between them while T.J. was still a minor. People who have read the books know they're not at all alike (in plot, content, or steam level), but the comparisons are still made. Hopefully people will read On the Island and make their own determination. Thanks for asking this question!
