Goodreads asked C.R. Richards:

How do you deal with writer’s block?

C.R. Richards The best way to deal with writer's block is to mitigate before it happens. I go through stages in which I'll have a harvest of new ideas for stories and scenes. I capture them on my handy iPad and save them for a drought day. When that dry spell of ideas comes, I can look back through my ideas and jump start my creative brain. If that doesn't work, I ride out those drought days by spending time on the nuts and bolts work of writing: editing, marketing, research.
