Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Sammie Sidelinger My book Inherited Thorns was inspired by me wanting to read something completely different. I get board and loose interest easily. I began to write a book for my three boys and it became a way for me to express the pain of depression. I wasn't dealing with life very well and a kind soul in a pretty harsh world just doesn't mesh well. Writing became a way for me to manage the deep emotions and wade through scars on my heart. I write as a way to cope and to breathe.
