I just began reading "The Earth Moved," as inspiration and a possible model for something I'm working on. I'm really enjoying it so far. What books can you recommend that inspired you while you were writing it? Thanks!

Hi! In terms of the writing itself, I was very inspired by anything by Mary Roach, anything by Sue Hubbell, and E.B. White's book ONE MAN'S MEAT. That last one probably sounds like a weird addition, but there is something so beautiful and clear about how E.B. White writes about life in the country, and it just somehow grounded me and calmed me down and got me thinking about the writing in a better way.
Oh, and of course, Michael Pollan's BOTANY OF DESIRE and Susan Orleans' ORCHID THIEF are great examples. Good luck!

I enjoy the Kopp Sisters series so much. I am on the last one now. I listened to the audiobooks, and the narrator is just amazing! I also appreciate that the characters are based on real women and their fascinating lives. Will we be able to see them on television in a series in the future?
