Why did she die of an overdose ? She was into pot & acid, you can't die from either of these. Is it not just a convenient ending for the real author ?

The particulars of her demise are unimportant. The key message here is: DO DRUGS AND YOU DIE!

Never mind which drugs and how they might induce death. The protagonist was a druggie so she had it coming. From the moment she took a puff of weed she started down a slippery slope that must inevitably lead to her death, by the logic of this story. (less)
