Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Lashell Collins I honestly don't remember where the idea originated, but I can tell you that it's a premise that has been simmering on the back burner of my mind for a long time. I just remember sort of obsessively thinking about a small, midwestern town full of werewolves, and wondering how that would play out and how would they stay hidden in plain sight. Now, I'm talking about a plain, ordinary town, much like the one I was born and raised in. How would a society of werewolves grow and thrive alongside the larger human community that they were a part of? Would the humans know? Would they live in harmony or would there be lots of contention between them? Would they interbreed or would that be forbidden? And so, while I was obsessing over this world and answering those questions, Secrets of Lunar Falls came alive.
