Hi, Rachel! The Merchant's Daughter does not tie in with the rest of the books until The Princess Spy. In that story, the grandson of Ranulf and Annabel travels from England to Germany and ends up in Hagenheim.
The Merchant's Daughter is a Beauty and the Beast story. I included various little details from the fairy tale, like the rose that stays fresh for a long time and then starts to lose its petals as the story gets close to the climax.

Hello. I just discovered your writing this year and have fallen in love with it. I noticed as I was looking at your fairy tale retelling series that the first five books were published through Zondervan, but books 6 and 7 were published through Thomas Nelson. As an aspiring writer myself, I'm trying to get a better understanding of the publishing world, so I am just curious as to why the change in publishers?
