Denise Ryan asked Kristen Ashley:

Hello, I love your books. When Sadie is at Hector's for the first time, and he walks in and stops almost like he forgot she was there, what was he thinking? I imagine hot guy thoughts like Sadie in my bed is better than I imagined or something?

Kristen Ashley Hector's waited a long time for Sadie to be right there. And she's been through an excruciating ordeal...and she's right there. In his bed. All his. She's dug her way into his heart, she's the one, she (he hopes at this point) is on the road to healing and he's at her side through that. So it means a huge amount that she's finally where he wants her to be (and where he wants her for the rest of his life).

This is overwhelming to him and he stops, stunned by it, memorizing that visual.

I'm so glad you noted that part because it's important. And I think it's beautiful. Thank you for reminding me of it! xx
