This part of the story makes no sense. So much mention of "fingerprints found at the murder scene" but given that Jeff lived there, there's no reason why his fingerprints wouldn't be found at the scene. His fingerprint was also found on Dad's belt. But there's no mention of his fingerprints being found on the gun (I guess Stagger wiped the gun clean). And no mention of the body being moved. Hard to believe nobody (Coben, editor, advance readers) caught this.

I loved it! It went to places nobody could have predicted! It was vintage Coben and I loved it! Not one of his best, but certainly a great read!
