Lia Angelidou
Lia Angelidou asked Shelly Crane:

I'll be honest. I've only read Significance series and it's like my all time favorite series ever. I just want to read more from you and my question here is, which series do you suggest me to read after I'm done with Undeniably Chosen? Which is your personal favorite, the one you cherish the most and you enjoyed writing the most? The one that you think I should definitelly read.

Shelly Crane Hey, Lia!

Well, my all-time favorite book of mine is Wide Open. It's the third book in the Wide Awake series. It can be read as a stand-alone if you like, but you should read the series anyway because...Mason (tattooed physical therapist, yum) ;). It was the hardest book I've ever written. I cried so hard writing that book. I don't read cancer books and I certainly don't write them because my mom has Leukemia, but this book...just came out of nowhere. It's not a "cancer book". It's a book about a guy recovering from drug addiction who meets a girl recovering from drug addiction and the epic love story that follows. But her brother has cancer. And she's lost everyone in her life and is about to lose him, too. How she deals with all this and doesn't go back to her drugs and alcohol was hard to write. I've had family deal with drugs/alcohol and it wasn't pretty to watch. So this entire book was gut-wrenching for me. It's still my favorite story to date and I go back and re-read or listen to the audio of my favorite parts every now and then.

As far as my favorite series, it's definitely Collide. It was the first book I ever wrote, the first guy I ever put down on paper. Oh, Merrick... They are long books. The first book is 137 K and the second is 154 K so be prepared for a long sit down. :) But it's completed at 4 books. It's very lovey and yet it's the apocalypse with weird creatures and them living on the run in the basement of a convenience store. :) So it's action, too. It was by far the most fun to write. I miss it. I hope you enjoy it if you read it.

Best wishes and happy endings,
Shelly Crane
