What got you interested in writing? Why was the YA genre so appealing to you?

E.V. Fairfall I always felt stories inside of me, I’d lay down and try to fall asleep while beautiful things drifted through my head. They sounded so seamless and when I actually got up to write them down I couldn’t grasp onto the words. A cruel trick. ;P So I started focusing more on the tales and little by little through poems and short stories, I wrote them down.

My fascination with YA came by accident, however I’ve stayed with it because the characters are in a stage of discovery. Adults have had their first love, their first major failure or heart break. YA characters are the newborns of emotion. I get a kick out of exploring new experiences with my characters and the characters I read about.
