i am struggling to finish reading this damn book. I can't stop due to the promise I made this year: Once start, finish the book. Haruki is an over valued writer.This is my thinking after reading several works of his. Am I only one thinking as this?

I moved to Tokyo 4 years ag…moreI started this book about 5 years ago and put it down. I couldn’t get into the characters. Just wasn’t feeling the vibe... I moved to Tokyo 4 years ago. I picked up the book again in June this year. Made a huge difference for me. I could relate to the characters better and I could picture many of the places he referenced in Tokyo. All in all I’m happy I finally finished it and while it wasn’t my favourite type of story I found it enjoyable in the end. I also liked the take on the title. Replacing 9 for Q as I learned that 9 in Japanese is kyu😉(less)
