How do you get inspired to write?

Carmella Gates I have always loved to write! When I worked in Special Education, I wrote professional articles, curricula, etc. I started adapting classic literature into children's plays to help my students with special needs understand the stories that were way above their reading levels. After I retired from teaching, I rewrote those plays and about 30 more, and I sell them on my website, classic acts.net. My goal is to help kids understand the classics.

But I really wanted to write a book; I have always wanted to do that. And teachers always say to write what you know, so I incorporated events from my life into my book. The secret is which are fact and which are fiction!
